Filmation thought very highly of Robert Lamb's "Not so Blind."

"Not so Blind" is truly a classic. Penned by one of the best He-Man writers ever, Robert Lamb, this episode is one of the few in the series to be completely character-driven, a characteristic shared by another Lamb great, "Into the Abyss." Through this one delicate, sensitive installment, Lamb discusses blindness, creates a very human blind person, and makes fun of the series all at the same time. The episode was so good that Filmation entered it in a competition at the Children's Hospital of Oakland. Although it did not win, it does go to show just how highly the Filmation heads thought of this episode.
