Summoned by Granamyr, Man-At-Arms and He-Man fly in the Wind Raider to Darksmoke. The evil dragon Morning Star wants to incite a war between dragons and humans so that he can conquer Eternia for himself. Morning Star uses the Ice Crystal to put out Granamyr's flame and then blames the incident on unnamed humans. The young dragons join Morning Star in his crusade against humans and vent their anger out on the Wind Raider flying by, forcing He-Man and Man-At-Arms to crashland. They find in the wreckage Orko, who stowed away without telling them. Granamyr is saddened by his people's desire for war. He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Orko volunteer to find fire to restart Granamyr's Darksmoke flame. They travel beneath Darksmoke, into the Pit of Shadows, where Orko retrieves the magic fire. Morning Star and the dragons begin their war on humans by attacking a nearby village. Morning Star tries to stop Orko from returning the magic fire to restart Granamyr's flame. The magic flame is too much for Orko to handle, causing him to evince magic surges that drive away Morning Star, whose war is openly challenged by a revived Granamyr. Morning Star and Granamyr square off in the test of fire with Granamyr victorious. The dragons and the humans make peace and plan to build a city together.
