At his mountainous lair Tauron, the evil wizard, casts a spell creating the Amulet Of Power. With the amulet he plans to bridge dimensions and locate the allies he requires to help him conquer Eternia. His spell-casting also results in a storm, prompting Prince Adam, Orko, and Cringer to find shelter from the impending rain. They find a cave, but soon realize the presence of a Manticore. Tauron's spell reaches out to Orko's home planet of Trolla, magically snatching Orko's Uncle Montork, and his pet named Gark, and transporting them to Eternia. However, Gark appears before the evil wizard Tauron, while Montork lands in front of the Manticore. He-Man and Battle Cat quickly defeat the monster. Meanwhile, Tauron uses his magic power to take control of Gark, making him evil in the process, and transports him to the Royal Palace Of Eternos in order to retrieve Montork, who is explaining the unusual circumstances of his visit to Eternia. Gark appears and takes control of Montork, prompting Prince Adam and Cringer to secretly transform into He-Man and Battle Cat. Tauron's image appears and reveals his evil plan to He-Man. He plans on sending Montork and Gark to overthrow Castle Grayskull. As He-Man advances to Castle Grayskull, Orko and Battle Cat head to Tauron's Lair to capture the Amulet Of Power. At Castle Grayskull, Montork and Gark battle the Sorceress Of Grayskull, but as they near the door to the Inner Chambers, He-Man arrives. At Tauron's Lair, Battle Cat detracts the evil magician, while Orko grabs the Amulet Of Power. With the amulet, Orko orders it to send them to Castle Grayskull. He-Man stops Montork and Gark, whose allegiances to Tauron are weakening. As Orko and Battle Cat appear within Castle Grayskull, they realize that they also brought Tauron with them. Tauron immediately order Montork to carry out his evil plan. Orko talks to Montork and makes him realize whom he really is, causing Tauron's evil spell to break. Montork gives He-Man the Amulet Of Power, which he destroys promptly, causing Tauron to wither away. Later, as Montork and Gark prepare to return to Trolla, Montork tells Orko that the greatest magic is to just be alive.

I thought it was interesting that skeletor did not male an appearance. The times Orko was sad were interesting. It's not something we see very often. Poor little Orko with his sad face. Overall a fair episode I liked the fact that we saw more of Orkos family
