Synopsis:

Adam, Man-At-Arms and Teela fly out to see Rohad, an old friend of Man-At-Arms who is very sick and slowly dying. The Sorceress tells Adam and Man-At-Arms that Rohad was bitten by a Dawber, and needs Vimwood to cure the illness. The two of them fly to the Crystal Mountains, but a fierce storm forces the Wind Raider down.

Leaving Man-At-Arms behind to work on the Wind Raider He-Man rushes on foot to obtain the Vimwood, but encounters many obstacles, including an octopus and a whirlpool. He-Man frees a Tactril from the web of a Kryvon, and when he falls to his death trying to leap a gorge the Tactril saves his life. He-Man manages to obtain the Vimwood, but not after pleading with the ancients. Flying back to Rohad's on the Tactril He-Man encounters a Mandrone, but working together He-Man and the Tactril defeat the Mandrone. They race back and Rohad's life is saved.
