Both are surprised when Webstor climbs into the window and steals the statue from them. He-Man follows Webstor to Snake Mountain, where Skeletor uses an illusion to trick Battle Cat into an underground trap. Webstor and Skeletor overpower He-Man.

Teela and Katrina join forces and attack Snake Mountain in the Wind Raider, but Skeletor's Nullifier Ray crashes them. With Teela knocked out, Katrina is left on her own, but she quickly finds Battle Cat, and the two of them enter Snake Mountain. Webstor and Katrina battle, while Battle Cat frees He-Man. Skeletor has already released the Grimalkin beast from its statue, but the monster takes over, growing ever larger until it breaks out of the side of the mountain. He-Man, Teela, Battle Cat, and Katrina run to a nearby mountaintop, where He-Man uses his sword and the power of a storm to return the Grimalkin to its statue holding. The Grimalkin statue is returned to the Cat People after the Eternians and Katrina realize they shouldn't have mistrusted each other.
