Man-At-Arms tries to repair the high-frequency transmitter, which controls all the radio communication on Eternia. Teela takes off for a field trip with three thirteen-year-olds, Taeger, Krill, and Sinda, to the Mystic Forest. Orko's foolery in the lab ruins the transmitter, forcing Man-At-Arms to build a new diode, which requires a supply of rainbow quartz, which can only be found in a cavern in Snake Mountain.

Krill dares Taeger to go for a joyride in the Jet Crawler. Adam and Cringer steal into Snake Mountain through an underwater entrance. The Jet Crawler is drawn in by Snake Mountain, forcing the three children to walk around aimlessly. They witness Evil-Lyn imprisoning Teela, while He-Man makes short work of Mer-Man. Skeletor tries to get rid of He-Man peacefully, but He-Man realizes Teel has been captured.

Trap Jaw captures Teela and the three children, but He-Man frees them. The heroes run to the launching pad, where He-Man empties an oil barrel to slip up Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, Mer-Man, and Beast Man. He-Man grabs Rainbow Quartz before leaving, allowing Man-At-Arms to create a new diode and repair the high frequency transmitter.
