Space pirates invade a peaceful farming village and demand half of their crop. Rose runs away to seek help, pursued by Hisser. Adam, Teela, Orko, and Cringer hear her cries for help, and Teela and He-Man save her from her attacker. After hearing Rose's story, they decide to send for Man-At-Arms and the palace guards to help the villagers. When fighting the space pirates, Adam accidentally loses his sword, which is picked up by a space pirate, and Sticky Fingers, the captain, shoots tar out of his fingers to hold them in place.

All three of them are placed in jail, but Rose and her father, Haro, help the three escape. Rose distracts the guard whilst Haro helps them escape. Sticky Fingers sets the Tracker on their trail, but they deter it by tricking it into sniffing some spices. Cringer goes off to find the stolen sword, and Adam convinces the villagers to fight back. While the villagers trap most of the space pirates, Cringer returns the sword to Adam, who then changes into He-Man. He then prevents Sticky Fingers from escaping just as Man-At-Arms shows up to take the prisoners away.
