Missing her daughter, the Sorceress decides to visit Teela in the form of Zoar. Skeletor introduces his latest invention, a transport beam that teleports its victims to an unknown dimension. Skeletor tests it out on the falcon flying by Snake Mountain, which happens to be Zoar. Zoar finds herself on a distant, volcanic planet. The Spirit of Grayskull contacts Adam, Man-At-Arms, and Teela and asks Teela to take the Sorceress' place because he can not find her anywhere on Eternia. Teela agrees to help in anyway she can, so she takes the Sorceress' place at the throne and begins learning the small tests of becoming the guardian of Grayskull. He-Man and Battle Cat pay Skeletor a visit, where Evil-Lyn stuns them with the transport beam, sending them to the same volcanic dimension. He-Man's questions about the Sorceress' whereabouts reveal that she is missing, prompting Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and Trap Jaw to assault Castle Grayskull. Teela takes on the clothing of the Sorceress to try and discourage them, but Skeletor realizes her voice is not quite right. The villains invade the castle, but the Spirit of Grayskull leads Trap Jaw to a trap door by tricking him with multiple illusions of Teela. Teela ties up Evil-Lyn, but Skeletor has still assumed the throne. Zoar is trapped inside a volcano, so He-Man and Battle Cat burrow through the bottom of the volcano to allow the molten lava quick release. Zoar freed, He-Man uses his Power Sword to call upon the power of Grayskull and return to the castle. The Sorceress' return prompts Skeletor's exit, allowing the Sorceress to tell Teela that her mother is proud of her, and Teela admitting that she wishes her mother is just like the Sorceress.
