He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Orko confront Skeletor, the villain leads He-Man in a chase around a poorly built gate structure. Frustrated, He-Man punches through the structure to get to Skeletor. When the rocks fall, they land on a disguised Tataran, who protects himself with a small force-field. He-Man is devastated when he sees a body under the large rock fall. Convinced he has killed a man He-Man walks away to think to himself. Orko overhears Skeletor and Tataran, and Orko is imprisoned. Realizing he has abused his great power, He-Man relinquishes his powers at Castle Grayskull and throws the Sword of Power into the abyss. Skeletor rebuilds the intergalactic gate and uses it as a portal to the Goblin World, bringing Tataran's army to Eternia. Without He-Man's help, Teela volunteers to take a Mesatronic Bomb to the gate. Orko escapes Skeletor's cell and tells Adam the truth of the situation. Adam flies a Sky-Sled into the abyss to recover the Sword of Power, but falls into a giant spider web. As Adam is about to be devoured by a large Abyss Spider he discovers his sword stuck to the web and transforms into He-Man. When Teela confronts Skeletor with the Mesatronic Bomb, the Goblins run, but Skeletor stuns her, causing her to drop the bomb. He-Man arrives on the scene, much to everyone's surprise. The Mesatronic Bomb, which Teela dropped, begins to countdown, sending Skeletor fleeing. He-Man picks up Teela and carries her to safety before the bomb goes off which completely destroys Skeletor's gate. He-Man carries Teela lovingly into the sunset.
