Adora is playing hide and seek with the Twiggets, when she sees a strange man, who wears his hat low and peers out through eyeholes, much the same way that Madame Razz does, being run down by his own cart. She transforms into She-Ra and stops the cart, earning his gratitude. He reveals that his name is Frit, and that he collects bottles in the various villages he visits. He informs them that he was having to physically pull his cart, because the Horde stole his animal, True Blue.

Adora takes him back to the rebel camp, where he thrills the Twiggets with stories of great battles from a time many years ago. Frit asks Bow to play a special song, which reminds him of a long-lost love and happier times. While Bow plays, Madame Razz and Broom crash into the camp, Madame Razz telling Bow to stop singing. Madame Razz reveals that the song that Bow was playing brings back bad memories for her, and it is at that moment when Frit and Madame Razz see each other, and make public that they were once in love.

Each has regrets about losing the other so many years ago, and though Madame Razz still cares about Frit, she guards her feelings because she lost him once and is afraid to lose him again. Adora and Kowl go to save Frit's animal friend, True Blue, who was captured in a nearby village, while Bow takes Frit back to his isolated home. Frit has used the bottles he has collected to build a stunning and colorful monument to freedom, but of course, freedom's worst enemy is the Horde, as Catra and the Horde Troopers arrive to destroy the bottles.

Spirit flees to tell Adora about this, while Madame Razz reveals her presence. Adora transforms into She-Ra and frees True Blue, as Spirit arrives. She-Ra, Swift Wind, Kowl and True Blue leave to save those who have been captured by the Horde. Madame Razz and Frit are conversing, when Madame remembers that Frit had wanted her to run away with him, but she refused because she could not bear to let the Horde proceed unchecked.

Frit had stayed away because he was afraid that she would be disappointed in him for not joining the rebellion, and so he spent years trying to prove to both himself and the Horde that he could build something of worth, meaning, and importance. She-Ra arrives and faces off against Catra, who threatens to destroy the monument. She-Ra tosses her sword into the ground, and orders the sword to cut. The Sword of Protection slices a hole around Catra, knocking her off-balance and causing her to fall into the hole, unable to destroy the monument.

Madame Razz uses her magic to free the others, and also uses her magic to change the structure of bottles into indestructible crystal. Madame Razz and Frit become friends again, and Frit is reunited with True Blue. As Madame Razz flies away with the rebels, she asks Bow to play their song again, remembering a special time that she and Frit spent together.
