Leech and the Horde Troopers are collecting taxes from farmers in a village. They spot Kowl and chase after him, attempting to capture him. Frightened, Kowl forgets to warn Bow and Adora that the Horde are approaching their location. Bow and Adora are visiting Farmer Pietro, who has been giving aid to the Rebellion, when the Horde Troopers arrive at the farm.
Adora transforms into She-Ra, and within a matter of minutes has defeated the Horde and tossed Leech's ship all the way back to the Fright Zone. Back at camp, Kowl apologizes for his cowardice, and Bow takes him to task for his failure to warn them. This causes Kowl to weep, dismissing himself as nothing more than a coward. Seeing that he is upset, Broom indicates that Madame Razz might have a courage spell that can help him. When they ask for her help, she tells Broom to go away, because she is in the middle of a very delicate spell.
Broom resolves to find the wizard at Silverglade, where he might be more appreciated, and Kowl wants to go along in the hopes that this wizard might have a courage spell. As they journey toward Silverglade, they are spied by Acrobad, who reports their presence to his traveling friend Doctor Drome. The two play the role of roving performers, but appear to have ulterior motives when they invite Broom and Kowl to ride with them to Silverglade. Back at the camp, Adora and the others are searching for Kowl and Broom, but to no avail.
Adora becomes She-Ra in the hopes of finding him. Meanwhile, Doctor Drome and Acrobad are taking Kowl and Broom to a nearby Horde outpost, hoping to earn rewards from the Horde in delivering such strange creatures. Kowl and Broom escape, but Acrobad seizes Kowl, while Doctor Drome stuns Broom. Meanwhile, Madame Razz casts a spell that enables her to divine their whereabouts and learns that they have been taken to the outpost at Moorstone, currently as captives of Colonel Blast.
At first, he plans to sell them to an alien circus, but soon resolves to have them sent to the Fright Zone for Hordak's approval. Bow and Madame Razz brave the attacks at the outpost in order to find their friends, as She-Ra makes quick work of Acrobad. Bow and Madame Razz break open the cell imprisoning their friends, while She-Ra is engaged in dodging Colonel Blast's concussive firepower. Bow skillfully fires arrows to clog his guns, causing them to explode, while Doctor Drome and Acrobad make their escape. The rebels all return to camp, as Bow apologizes to Kowl for his harsh words, and Madame Razz informs Broom that she appreciates him.
