When Prince Adam came to his parents and revealed he had been chosen for a mission to the future, both Randor and Marlena told their son that they would miss him, but were proud that he had been chosen for such a mission.

Randor then watched in amazement as his son revealed that he was, in fact, He-Man. Randor told his son he had made him very proud, just as the Sorceress told the King that Eternia would soon have peace - it would be a land without Skeletor.
