Once the Queen of Mysticor, Mortella ruled with an iron fist. Not much is known about Mortella other than that she was empowered by the magical flame in her throne room. With this power, Mortella conjoured up everything surrounding her from the knights to her own enchanted castle in Mysticor. Her powers are so strong as the fire grew, that she was even able to defeat Castaspella (the ruling queen of Mysticor) and turn her into a defenceless old woman. Although, her powers were not match for She-Ra and Bow who managed to extinguish the magical flame and freed Mysticor from her evil tyranny.
