Originally a peaceful creature called Karrakians, from the planet Jungulia, at the young age of 428 Gur'rull was kidnapped by the Horde Empire who erased his memories so he would serve loyally in their armies. Renamed "Grizzlor" he traveled with Hec-Tor Kur to Eternia in search of He-Ro. His ferocious attacks were so frightening that even after being banished to Despondos along with his master, Grizzlor's legend lived on, becoming a myth told by young Eternian children. Prison Guard for the Horde, Grizzlor is ready to unleash his fierce claws to attack the forces of Eternia!Grizzlor is a man-beast warrior of The Evil Horde. He has brute srength and is covered in hair. His sharp claws and teeth make him a savage killer. Grizzlor is a master of the crossbow as are all members of The Evil Horde. He is often seen at Fright Zone and Beast Island.

Grizzlor is a brutish hairy man-beast creature, covered in thick brown fur and sharp claws, who attacks his opponents with the power of brute strength. Possessing immense strength, animalistic agility, and armed with an array of sinister edged weapons, the ferocious Grizzlor is a dangerous to anyone; especially if they're on the run. Grizzlor is a feral and cunning being born without fear. His natural tendency to hunt anything and destroy it knows no limitations. Hordak uses a restraining collar to reign in this mighty beast so as to do his bidding without consequence of his primal traits taking over. Grizzlor feels most comfortable in the Etherian wilderness. He prefers to avoid civilization, no longer feeling a part of it, and he tends to be happiest amongst wild animals. However, Grizzlor is always ready for when Hordak needs him next.
