Stratos - Heroic Winged Warrior
Real Name: Stratos Of The House of Avion
Stratos is the Lord of Avion, a civilization of winged simians who live high on the peaks of the Mystic Mountains. He became Lord Of Avion, when he and his sister, Hawke, recovered the Egg Of Avion, fallowing the slaughter of their parents and many high ranking members of the race. Eventually, Stratos married Delora, who would rule Avion, while Stratos went to Eternos, to help King Randor fight the returning Evil Horde. Stratos became one of the original Masters Of The Universe. Although all Avions have the ability to fly using the magical Egg Of Avion, many, including Stratos, have augmented their armor with rocket packs and jets to increase their speed and distance. As a member of the Masters of the Universe, Stratos fights bravely against the evil forces of Skeletor.
Stratos dies in the final battle of the "Second Ultimate Battleground". It is unspecified how.
Note: In the German Audio Play "Mystic Tree Of Avion", it is mentioned that Stratos and Lady Delora have two children.
