Originally Mark Taylor, the main designer on early MotU, had intended the Sorceress to be a more ambiguous character, which could sometimes act in less "goodie-goodie" ways than the finalized character has traditionally been portrayed. That early idea was however scrapped, and the Sorceress/Goddess concept was split in two. One side became both Teela and the Sorceress we know today, the other part was developed more, and finally became Evil Lyn.
