Comet Creatures ThatTransform!
Description TheMeteorbs represented Mattel's attempt to get in on the transforming toy craze(Transformers, Go-Bots, etc) which took the form of transforming rocks intoanimals. And just like their illustriousTransforming predecessors, Meteorbs were also shamelessly ripped off theJapanese. This time, it was a toyline byBandai called Tamagoras.
The Heroic Meteorbs consisted of Tuskor,Cometroid, Astrolion, Comet Cat (pictured here) & Ty-Grrr while the Evil Meteorbs had ontheir roster: Orbear, Rhinorb,Crocobite, Dinosorb and Gore-illa.
Features Each Meteorbpossessed the ability to transform from a smooth egglike shape into some formof animal or robot. The gimmick wasfairly simple and didn't require much effort to transform.

Spring-loaded waist. By pressing a lever on the side of his belt, Skeletor will perform a spinning lunge, flinging an eight-bladed disk from his launcher towards the enemy. He also has a "light-pipe" feature in the back of his helmet, which makes his eyes glow eerily. A cool figure, the best of the three NA Skeletors.Accessories:- 2 disks of doom- psychotronic disk launcher- wrist clip (for using disk as shield)
The giant propellor of this skull-faced helicopter winds up, and can be launched at the touch of a trigger, spinning horribly in the face of the enemy (I should think this would affect its flying ability...). Further, another trigger makes the skull's jaw snap menacingly. Plus, did I mention that the skull glows in the dark? This ship's got it all! Also, if you want to be disturbed, place Optikk in the pilot seat and have the copter "stare" at you. Really, it will creep you out after awhile.Accessories:- bladed rip-rotor projectile
