Flogg was the leader of the Mutants, who were based on the planet Denebria. He had been organising raids on the planet Primus with his Mutant henchmen. When Skeletor happened upon the Mutant's base, Flogg ordered the new arrival to get on his knees, believing he had a new prisoner - but was unprepared for Skeletor's vast power. Skeletor quickly exerted his power over Flogg, forcing the Mutant leader to his knees.

Skeletor then quickly assumed control of the Mutants, threatening Flogg with death should he ever challenge his rule.
