Count Marzo's most important weapon is his magical amulet, which he carries with him at all times.  The amulet not only augments his magical abilities, but also his physical strength.  It is so feared that after Marzo's failed attempt to conquer the Hall of Wisdom, the Council of Elders placed the amulet within a ridge in the Sands of Fire.

Marzo's amulet has been witnessed granting him protective force fields, allowing him to fire bolts of red magical energy, move at blinding speed, manipulate other magical forces and even fly.
