Do the Wiggles or the Doodlebops count? :sklol:
Before that, it was Kiss with Ted Nugent back in 2000.
BOB DYLAN, in march.
My sister and I drove up to Harrisburg, PA in May to see the Classical Mystery Tour, a Beatles tribute band backed by a symphony orchestra. It was amazing.
--Leanne
Last show I went to see what Madonna's Confessions tour in Philly, Pa. Shows these days are expensive and not many out there I want to pay and see.
It's a been a while but David Bowie on his last world tour.
Alice Cooper, last August at the Michigan State Fair. Before that, Alice Cooper, the August before that at the Michigan State Fair. Oh, and this August, I am going to see Alice Cooper play the Michigan State Fair.
Notice a pattern forming here? :hmlol: I've been an Alice fan since I was three. The man does a good live show, in four parts:
1) Hard, almost garage rock type stuff.
2) His more concept songs, along with some theatrics that include but are not limited to: mock-attacking a dancer (his daughter Calico), being tortured by evil doctors, being beheaded, and/or being hanged.
3) More hard rock! Including "School's Out", during which big balloons are tossed out into the crowd (which never make it out of Gold Circle Seating, 'cause he pops 'em with his cane when the hit the stage again and the explode with confetti).
4) Encore with even more hard rock! Gives each band member recognition during the last song, including his daughter (and main dancer) Calico Cooper.
One month ago I went to see REO SEEPWAGON with my wife and they still got it.:skblsh:
Tori Amos was the last person I saw live. That was like 8 months or so... I don't go to many concerts, because of the prices.
Halloween 2006 I saw GWAR at the Newport here in Columbus.
I went with a friend and had a blast!

The B-52's
Sonic Youth
And alot of opening bands that I could care less about.
i saw my favorite band Local H around the end of may in dallas/fort worth. there was a solo acoustic set with singer/guitarist/bassist scott lucas that afternoon in some record store with no a/c. despite the heat, it was a lot of fun. the main show that evening was excellent as always. they played a bunch of songs i didn't expect to hear and didn't play a song i DID expect to hear (although in this case, it's a plus). i got to talk a little bit with both the band members after the show. the drummer, brian st. clair, is incredibly polite, probably the nicest guy in the business. scott comes off a little surly but he's not too bad either, just don't waste his time with stupid questions. :hmlol:
So far this year I've seen:
Weird Al Yankovic
Rush
Van Halen
and later this month,The Eagles.
I got to see Bryan Adams a couple of years ago with Def Leppard. He did the same thing with pulling a lady on stage to sing along at the show I saw too.
I ended up going big for the Eagles show, since it's for my Mom's Birthday and they're her favorite. It ended up being $185 a ticket, but I'm on the floor at the United Center.
Lets see.. The first Rock on the Range was probably my last big show.. Unless the Tragically hip show at the state theatre was after it.. :S
But... in 3 fridays.. I'm going to see NKOTB at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto with my sister :D We've got seats within the first 20 rows. I am so geeked. And I know some people are likening them coming back to having a root canal done.. but they are my backstreet boys... and I am so excited..
Wicket
Last one that I went to, Seether, Shinedown and Fly Leaf all played.
This actually won't count until the end of the week at this time.....but Jimmy Buffet on September 4th!!! Otherwise it would be trans Siberian orchestra in December.
Jack Johnson in ATL. It was actually a really good concert. I wasn't expecting all of the people to be smoking that were... yes, that kind of smoking.
nonetheless, I would see him again.
