I wouldn't mind a little more Alcala/Mark Taylor prototype in there, but the inclusion of the ledge and the 'chess piece' do make this design very desireable. It's a good hybrid between the original toy and the proto. I do think that Erick is going to have his own take and the shape of the skull and teeth will likely be a bit different from the drawing.
OK I just ordered one Castle. So far, I've ordered two of each MOTUC item but shipping to Germany is $198.75 so there's absolutely no way I'm buying more than one.

Sorry Mattel. I was willing to pre-order this awesome castle. But though I expected high shipping costs, I did not expect them to nearly double the price! Forced to pass now and deeply depressed because of it. :hmsad:

Yeah, I just did a "mock order". International shipping to the UK is just under $200. Added together it would be about $450, which would be about Ģ280. I really have to think about this. I suspect that a lot of international costumers are going to pass on this one, which is a shame, because everyone is needed to make sure the pre-order goes through. Mattel could have problems here.
