Bring him on!
Hell yeah!! I would definatly buy 2. Hope it does happen
seeing that they said that they "will see how battlecat does first"...I just hope Battle cat dont cost like 50$
SWEET!!!! I would definitely pay more cash for a big 'ole Granymyr!!! And based on the mini comic means he'd be light blue instead of red, right? That's ok with me... I kinda' like the light blue better.
Nice to hear that. I know there was some confusion surrounding him for awhile.
Very cool this custom!!! guaranteed from my self! :sklol:
Alright!! I've been wanting a Granamyr since I was 5.
Since Battlecat is gonna do amazingly well, lets cross our fingers that Granamyr is the next large item in line.
Yeah even before Tytus or Megator.
Before everyone gets too spun up on old G, I can tell you he is not in the cards anytime soon. Yes, he does fall into that "do-able" category as far as rights go, but due to his size and unique tooling, this dragon is not a figure that will be available anytime soon.
But, hey, anything is possible one day! At the moment, legally speaking, he is more likely than Shadoweaver, but due to the expense of doing him right, he isn't exactly high up on the release calendar.
TG
He would move a lot of units Mattel, I'm just saying.
A Four Hoursemen Granymyr would be such total coolness.
I thought we already knew this one. Isn't anyone from the mini-comics do-able?
At any rate, I would buy Granymyr in a heartbeat. If Battle Cat and Panthor do well at whatever price-point they are at, we may need some other items to fit that price point, right Mattel? ;)
Nice to hear this! Eventually getting a Granymyr would be pretty cool!
Good to know that he is doable!
I just know Battle Cat's going to do EXTREMELY well, so I feel like this is great news, but yes, let's still keep our excitement in check.
Yesss!!! I've been waiting for official news on Granamyr for a while and I'm pleased as punch that he's doable. I love Granamyr and would totally buy him. I pretty much knew that if they ever did him he'd be a long way off but it's great that he's a possibility, it's also great to hear that Cornboy likes him because it's always good to have the sculptors on your side.
Granymyr is awesome!
I'd love to see Granymyr being made
I'm sure Battlecat will be a huge success:hmwink:
The mini comic I believe was based on the script for his first Filmation episode. Also Larry DiTillio originally created Granamyr for a roleplaying game so alot of people were unsure if a mini-comic appearance alone was enough for him to count as property of Mattel.
I wonder if they do a figure whether it'll have to be green (comic colours) not red (cartoon colours)?
Absolutely YES!!!! Ol' Granny would be awesome to have in my collection!:hmlol:
fantastic news, first in line, get out my way!!!
I'd so buy Granamyr! As long as he isn't too expensive. Though maybe he could make a great BAF. Have parts sold with the MOTUC figures for a year. And perhaps to help the line even more have the parts be packed in exclusively with the subscription figures and not the standard ones just sold on Mattycollector.
I hope he doesnt either. Im thinking he may cost $30.
I think it would be cool if they did Granamyr as a BAF in the MOTUC line but I read on some question and answer about a month ago that they would NOT do a build a figure. :(
I always assumed he was doable!
is there any posteable image of the comics? ;)
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Okay, actually the green one is a lot lot less exciting, though I think a red variant would be cool (though probably not possible). I'm not sure how this would look in MOTUC. If it were 200X, I'd hope for them to go all Vermithrax Pajorative/MacFarlane Dragons on him, but Classics has a different aesthetic. I'd buy a $50 Battlecat or Granamyr, but I suspect they'd be closer to $35 or $40.
