Evil seed needs an evil figure.
Both figures should be made.
MYP hit it out of the park again with their reimagined Evil-Seed.
I never liked Filmation's talking Artichoke although he did have a nicely animated death scene which looked very much like Disney animation.
200x influenced. it would be cool for a weapon to be a removable hand that is in the shape of a wicked sword out of wood. if that makes sense. see the cartoon.
Please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I remember way back when TG first revealed that The Faceless One was the (then) planned May 2011 figure that he went on to say that Evil-Seed was the May 2012 figure. If that's the case then I would take it that Shadow Weaver bumping Horde Prime as the sub figure made Horde Prime bump ES from a regular monthly slot.
I do hope that evil-seed is in the works for this year.
Would you guys like Mattel to add a scent like the pine on Moss Man?
I think that would be really cool.
Howzabout bendy vines so he can snare his opponents?

And he could possibly have two variants, one is his "prisoner look"...

...the other being his Filmation look.
Maybe Evilseed can change his appearance at will.
yeah, vine snares or vine hands would be awesome.
Actually I think he could/should reuse a lot of parts from Demo-Man, what do you think?
This guy is LONG OVERDUE. I hope we get to him before the painted plastic fiasco kills his chances of being realized in the Classics line.
what kind of classics loin cloth should he get?
what feet & hands should he get?
new buck, legs, arms or reuse of parts?
discuss.
I'll admit that I haven't given this character a lot of thought.
I assume we would get the 200X version, but I would definitely want him to have an extra 'artichoke' head and come with some viney acessories. He could be one of the coolest figures in this whole line.
1. Tundra Torque: Now that The Roadmap is gone, can you reveal some details of The Roadmap? For example, if Evilseed was slotted into The Roadmap, where would he have appeared?
No, we won't be revealing this as 2014 and beyond is still to much up in the air.
This news is just awful. :hmmad:
Must have for sure. It's really Two-Bad we didn't get Evilseed in the 200x line....
How would you guys feel about Evilseed having some removable vines coming out his back similar to Octavia:

200X Evilseed definitely looks menacing and would look really good.
I really want the MYP version. Has the potential to be an amazing figure. Extra head and cloak and you have yourself a Filmation version too.
Hands down, it's gotta be Filmation Evilseed. I have no problem with the idea of making a MYP version, but I prefer the Filmation version so much more and hope that's the version we get first. Like Shadow Weaver and Eternos King Randor, the Filmation translation into MOTUC would be so much better than the MYP version. Which is how I feel about the MYP version of Count Marzo too. The MYP designs, including Chief Carnivus and Faceless one, really stand out. I can't tell you the number of times my friends have seen my collection and asked, "Who are these guys? Are they from the same collection?" And since it does appear we might never get to a Filmation Count Marzo, please give us the Filmation Evilseed. ;)
I disagree with the idea of designing him so you can get both versions out of the same figure. To do either version justice, they really do need to be seperate figures. The body of the Filmation version is thin under that cloak, while the MYP version looks muscular. Putting a cloak over that muscular build wouldn't look right; too bulky.
Four Horsemen - PLEASE, don't mix them!
Evil Seed is a nice, iconic character, and I hope he gets made. However, I don't like either design, so... XP
Filmation design is bursting with character. The 200x design, like a lot of their stuff, is very bland and generic. Filmation is the version I would prefer, but I fear the 200x fans are going to win this one. If they do go for the 200x version, I actually prefer his form when he's imprisoned.
