I think the Filmation style would make a cool toy, whereas the MYP would look too Mcfarlane-style. I passed on Marzo for that reason.

I really don't think that would have changed most people's minds(I'm sure most people already knew what they looked like before they voted). Besides, one of those is a B&W sketch and the other is fan art. I don't see how that's an improvement.Quote:

Sorry, but you know we're going to end up with Filmation Evilseed, like it or not, since "200X elements have been retired", and of course MYP Evilseed would have too much "hyper anime detail", whatever the Hell that means. :hmroll: Yes, the last thing we want in our figures is more detail.
MYP for me... i feel the filmation ver looks just...... just awful...
much like marzo, and though I absolutely love Filmation, Evilseed is just designed far better in MYP.
Look at King HSSSs MOTUC and you see the buck for 200x Evilseed. ;)
I definitely prefer the Filmation version. IMHO it's different and unique. To me, the MYP version just looks...meh, like it could've been pulled right out of any old property. :b
Just for kicks, I did a mockup of Filmation Evilseed. The MYP one is an older mockup. If i were to do it again, i would use Hiss's body for the ribbing.

I voted for MYP. Granted I don't really like Evil Seed, but he'll be a great foe for MossMan.
I thought I'd go with MYP 'cause he is very cool looking, but Filmation is just so goof-tastic I voted for him.
However, if and when they produce Evilseed, I will be happy with either version.
I voted MYP. Although, I have to admit, the non-humanoid look of Filmation's Evilseed is interesting.
It could use some tweaking (mostly the head) and more detail, but it could make a really cool, non-humanoid looking monster.
Love FILMation…but gotta go with the MYP design. It was a vast improvement!

Filmation EvilSeed is my favorite.
Give him a little of both! MYP most of the way but classisized. To have the Filmation look give him the cloak that covers the body & a second head that is the Fimation head. :)

Filmations for me. He looks more mysterious. And he should come with his decaying bonus head as well. :skgrin:
Ya I think too many are basing this purely on the pictures. When evilseed is defeated at the end of the episode, his head wilting is almost disturbing. For a kids cartoon it was pushing it. I would want MYP, but with a separate head, and a cloak. Then you get the best of both worlds.Quote:
