How about a Sorceress/Teela Mother-Daughter Breast Cancer Awareness 2 pak

This idea originally came up on Mattycollector.com forums by Rodimus Knight, then it was brought up on Toymaker's A-list Teela thread. Swanmarsh suggested that there should be a thread devoted to it. Here it is!

Of course, we'd have to wait until The Sorceress actually comes out, so I wouldn't expect this to go down anytime soon.

The proceeds could go to breast cancer research.

I wouldn't buy them as just pink variants for the sake of pink variants, but if it was a charity thing, I'd be on board!

I think it´s a great idea and would get my support.

I love pink anyway and for a good cause, it´s even better!

I'd be down for that. I was down for the fighting breast cancer Teela from the start.

I like the idea a lot. I do see it as being a very complex decision for Mattel though and don't see it ever happening.

I love this idea and would definitely buy 2. My mother is a breast cancer survivor.

I'd be up for these for sure, but I'd also like to know why they were colored pink in the first place? Just a weird accident or was there some reason behind it?? Like all they had was pink ink left or something? lol

They could make it an annual thing...many POP figures could have pink variants. Swiftwind, She-Ra, Angella, etc. She-Ra and Swiftwind would be a nice set.

I'd buy them definitely, but pink variants of these characters I could definitely live without.

Agreed- I'd be onboard because of the cause, not the pink. I think it'd also be a good PR move for Mattel.

Maybe the bio could include something about Teela's 'cloning' being a complete lie?!

As I said on the other thread, I'd be all over this and even pay extra - that way Mattel wouldn't have to cut into their precious profits. I've lost a dear friend to breast cancer, and my grandma-in-law is a survivor.

I looked at the Matty board & the idea was for a Pink Teela, which could easily be made by next October, who changed it to include a figure that doesn't even exist yet?? :cteroll:

What a great idea! I'd certainly buy something like this, if not for the figures, at least for the charity!

I really like this idea, I think it totally needs a go. I certainly don't mind paying more for this set because it benefits a worthy cause, plus we'd get two cool variants. I've always wanted a pink Soceress.
