Now that we have both, which MOTUC Beast sized figure do you prefer and why?
I voted for Shadow Beast.
Although I think Gygor is amazing, I've wanted a Shadow Beast for about 20 years!!
Shadow Beast rules the school, I always wanted beasts for Beastman to command, and who the H is Gygor anyway? (That's a rhetorical question.)
This was a hard one! Do I prefer a giant gorilla wearing a cape with fur the same color as urine or a monster from my favorite toy based cartoon of all time???
As much as I love the Shadow Beasts(toon & toy), I have to give it to the big ape.

Shadowbeast, because his facial expression is more neutral. I couldn't handle Gygor's rage.

My vote in for Gygor, The shadow beast dont do anything for me. In fact I wished they never released the Shadow Beast.
Neither. Waste of plastic/figure development slots.
Would rather have had Ram-Man or Leech. I would not have missed either of these figures if they had never been made.

Im getting Shadow Beast cos of the sub but If I had the choice I would have passed on it, I have no nostalgia for it,and really dont get the love!

Shadow Beasts, i love their Filmation look.
Interesting how close this poll has been going.
I picked the Shadow Beast for several reasons. The Shadow Beasts are more known than Gygor ever was. They were a Filmation-born creature who returned in the MYP series. And now, in the MOTUC "canon", they are a Count Marzo creation so I was really happy with that.
Gygor is an awesome looking figure though. Sweet colors and accessories and a prototype from the vintage line.
I can see why it is a very close poll. :)
To me, Gygor's a bit redundant; Beast Man's the perfect savage Evil Warrior, IMHO. And while neither Gygor or the Shadow Beasts had vintage figures, the Shadow Beasts at least appear in the Filmation series.
So I voted for Shadow Beasts.

I got the Shadow Beast today. He's cool, but a bit boring compared to Gygor.

shadow beast blends into the back of my evil warriors so well.
Shadow Beast for me. Even though they are a Fillamation design, I could easily see them in pre-fillamation mini-comics
I personally would have to pick Gygor, it's just something about his color scheme that wins me over.
