I love how Draego Man was essentially made to fill a void in the Evil Warriors' lineup (not to mention Eric's own personal lineup :skwink:); I hope we get something similar with the other 30th anniversary releases (female Snake Warrior, male Rebellion member, etc).
ET: Oh man, Scorpia. I promise you she will be a killer figure.

Eric fulfilled a dream of mine, since I was a kid, I always complained why don't the bad guys have a flying guy. Hungar the Harpie was never made, and I think she is the only bad character that could fly. Thanks Eric for making such a cool looking bad guy. Now bring on Scorpia!

He's really cool to listen to... I was fortunate enough to talk to him, and listen as he talked about design challenges (The Sorceress, for example).
I love that he mentioned Scorpia!! She's a great character... It sounds like he's finding the love for the POP characters, which is exciting, because I want to see the 4H versions of those women.
I want to see them brought into the Classics line.
That large pic of Draego-Man is great. His wings are excellent... and they make me think that Lord Dactys, Batros, and Hunga the Harpy are all possible.

Wow, that was in-depth! :hmeek: Cool interview and nice to see they are hiring more people! :) I'm surprised he had such a hard time coming up with a MOTU character! I certainly agree that a Dragon-Man in MOTU is perfect though. It is one of the iconic/epic things MOTU was missing (outside of the actual dragons it has, I mean. :lol:).
100% agree on his take about humans (especially women) being harder to get right vs. monsters. They're getting a lot better at capturing femininity (in my opinion). I wish they talked about why they went with the magazine versions of the Star Sisters instead of the toy prototypes though (that had more accessories)!

It's always reassuring to read about Eric's respect for the line's origins. I disagree with him about the Star Sisters though. They really do not sit well with the style of the line.
Eric has a superb attitude but i have to disagree, that MotU has no limitation.
The girlie stuff is not acceptability for my shelf. I just donīt like the bubble gum look, i like the Frazetta look.
Im ok with women, but gimme some Babes not baby girls toys:hmlol:
So i have to cherry-pick from now on.
