I think obviously the filmation one is better, not because the original toyline sucked or anything. BUt I like how She-Ra is special because she has a pegasus. Dont think Bow needs one, plus Filmation Arrow had more character, fit with Bow better to me. Glad everyone else thinks so as well.
not another flying horse.
You would think a blue horse would make for a better toy.. but judging by the side to side comparison.. I gotta go with FILLAMATION!
Surprising myself and voting Filmation! I want that toy!
Other, the Filmation horse, in toy colors :D
Personally I'd only buy the Filmation version, not interested at all in the toy version.
why not Both?
I'm glad i've done this poll. The results by now are very impressive. Seems that the toy version fans are very vocal but not to numerous. :hmwink:
Other: I couldn't care less if we ever get Arrow.
Good grief... sometimes I wish the Filmation cartoon didn't exist! LOL! The blue Pegasus would look freaking AMAZING as a MOTUC toy for MOTUC Bow. That drab brown wingless thing with the jock haircut? NO THANKS.
I get what you're saying here, Baronterror, it makes alot of sense, but I have to say, I'd prefer the toy version. Here's why: I feel that the filmation Arrow is absolutely boring. I'm into color and that design is so drab. Plus I am a huge fan of mythical horses, so the more Pegasus' we get, the better! Just my opinnion.
Blue Pegasus Arrow would be absolutely amazing! I know alot of MOTU fans are freaking about the colors, but I don't think filmation is the way to go here. I love collectiong the beasts in this line, but if they do release Bow's horse as filmation, that's one beast I will NOT be buying. Way too boring and is not going to take up space on my shelf where better designed beasts/mounts can be.
I like the jock haircut, it looks cool and gives Arrow a more distinct look, a character trait if you will.
I'm stickin' with split the difference, Filamtion Arrow in toy colors
....and just for fun :mmwink:

Filmation. Easily!
Toy version has a more interesting color scheme, to me.
I'm gonna say the filmation so I can get the head piece and use it for Spirit :shshift:
They're both have some nostalgia to them but definitely they Filmation version for the simple fact that it's never been released as a toy before. If the line goes on for years and years maybe we could get both but it seems likely that we'd only get the one so I hope he fits in with my Filmation styled Bow.
I know what you mean. I just wish the cartoon versions of characters looked like the toys. I mean, people are very much underrating the 80's toys. Their concept, abilities, colours, design, etc. developed them as characters, told stories and had meaning.
Arrow, for example. He's blue because he's Bow's true blue friend. He flies Bow to victory. Why does he fly? His name is Arrow. Arrows "fly" at great speed when accompanied by a bow. Get it?
The Filmation version has Spirit's hair colour and tiara and is brown like Teela's horse/unicorn charger. Two brown horses with very slight differences doesn't sound very exciting to me. A blue one and a brown one with a bunch of differences does, though. ;)
I would also be okay with a toy coloured version of the Filmation one with removable tiara, wings and shoulder covers. It would be nice to get a unique horse/pegasus for Bow in a toy line FULL of unique characters. Do we really want BROWN Arrow, BROWN Charger and BROWN Strydor? That's a whole lot of the same, in my opinion.
there are to many flying horses in POP, I would say filmation!
Not to mention those newly confirmed brown wings on the brown Griffin. Too much brown on my shelf = giant visual ugh.
What about the white and blue version from the Ladybird book:

Personally I still like the Filmation version best but prefer this one to the toy.
