Thank GOD they didn't use the MOTUC bios as canon.
Some of them, like for the Goddess, were great, but didn't like Evil-Lyn's bio at all! Whoever did the MOTUC bios clearly wanted Orko and Trolla [Seriously? Trolla?] at the center of everything, by making them the most powerful in the story. The gods - Procrustus, Teela, Zodac, Sharella, Havok, Light Hope and the others - should be what the cosmic forces the original stories intended them to be. The MOTUC bios totally got that wrong!
Anyway, the new comic's okay. Want a Masters NOVEL SERIES really, really bad though.
Yea I agree. I thought I was tripping reading the first few when they kept mentioning Trolla. It's a dead end for me. Why make it so important when it was only mentioned in a few flimation cartoons. It has no concrete depth or balance to any storyline any where else.

It quite annoys me when covers do not relate to the story in the issue. Every cover has had He-man on yet he hasn't appeared!
A bloodied Power Sword huh? I personally don't mind or care, but I know many friends here will take some strong offense to that. Even if I don't mind or care... I have to say I wouldn't have done that for a cover. :hmsad:
Still like that we're getting new takes on MotU though. I am enjoying it for what it is.
Does anyone know what's the state of play on the digital comics? I was enjoying those but there's not been a new one for 6 weeks!
We've seen all Printed DC covers from Dave Wilkins.
Digital comics haven't updated any info for some time, so I figure if this was a cover for a digital comic, we would know some blurb to it as well.
Don't like He-Man's face in that picture. His chin looks far too big. They’ve made him look like a wrestler, which I don’t like. Also, where is this from? We've seen the remaining covers for the series. So what's this for?
Is it finished the adventure? Any DC MOTU Comic on december preview...
Any dates set?
I'm still hoping that this leads to a monthly series beyond the six issues. So far, I've liked most of this take, although still puzzled why Hordak looks very drastically different. At least with the other characters there were still enough in each character to recognize who they are. Hordak only has the face, somewhat.
It's pretty sad when I find myself checking these comic threads yet don't really care if I miss them or not. I think it makes a big statement about the quality and direction these comics took.
I would never have missed the MVC comics but these DC and digital ones (as well as the "mini" comics) just don't have any appeal to me as a MotU fan. :(
