I really hope Mosquitor does have a removable helmet or 2nd head with the little insect face. I love that design element!

Looks like one solid piece to me, but it would be a nice way to integrate some staction elements.

And I would be really surprised if Mattel opts for real liquid in the chest piece. I worry that would be a QC nightmare. I can see them using translucent red plastic that is sculpted to look like liquid, with details like bubbles and such.

The sculpted bubbles looked pretty good on the DCUC Chemo figure, so I'd be very ok with that. I definitely don't want to worry about QC on my Mosquitor!

That is what I said....let's hope it's not....because what they've been using seems not much better than the plastic on standard CD cases.

i really hope Toy Guru takes one of the reveals from Power Con and teases us the same way he is with Mosquitor. It has built it up to a fever pitch for the reveal and i for one love it. Maybe reveal a weapon in the display case on the last day then in a couple weeks start the part pics like he did with Mosquitor.

I think looking at these teaser pictures before I went to bed gave me a nightmare. I dreamed that someone put my Teela, SDCC Grayskull and Bronze Grayskull in the microwave for 5 1/2 minutes! :hmeek: I blame the blender and barbecue pictures! :lol: That's my only explanation for the dream. :sklol:

I think so too actually, yea! And for exactly the same reasons you stated.

This is what I was talking about... I think Scott is finally REALLY letting loose and simply having some fun with things, which is what it should be about in the first place. I just hope things are well enough to continue subs into 2014... I'd hate to see this end, especially when we're really starting to have some fun! I've been on board since the beginning, and I can honestly say these are the first times I've really enjoyed Scott, in the past several months or so. I'm just really liking the guy more and more. I can't WAIT to see what happens at SDCC.

....oh, and by the way... Go Dan-Squitor! :hmlol:

He looks SO amazing, I really hope nothing like this happens! But it wouldn't be the first time; anytime Mattel says they put extra effort into a figure, like King Hiss or Roboto, it ends up having problems that overshadows all their self-stated extra efforts.

I like to imagine the reactions from the hotel pool staff as they watch a grown man pose action figures on his chair and take pictures of them. Don't worry guys, it's my job! It's cool!

Also, Frosta's face looks less like it was blasted with a makeup shotgun. So that's good.

They looked whiter in the previous photo where Mosquitor is in a block of ice... may be just the lighting.

I don't know, because the towel is white. I'm now officially very scared. :calol: Frosta is Queen of snow and ice and NEEDS to be brilliant white, like Bubble Power She-Ra's dress. Frosta's prototype was painted that colour. I hope the final version has white like that or I'll be sad. :( She will look TERRIBLE in winter photos if she's gray...she'll look dirty.
