How does one make She-ra's arm bands and sword?

I'm trying to get stuff together for my cosplay outfit and I can't figure out how to make either of these things. Any tips?

This Wonderflex stuff is pretty popular for making armor and would probably work well for the arm bands. Haven't tried it myself yet but here's a tutorial showing you how to make armor with it. http://www.cosplaysupplies.com/tutor...riendlyplastic
