????? This is awesome... right? Why not, I say, but still a bit odd. I see customs on their way!
Scroll down to page 64 you will see Yla Eason, who created Sun-Man, and Leon Stephenson the live action Sun-Man model.
I'm diggin pig head...the super villian.
That is some pretty big smack talk.
I've been searching for Pig Head for a long time !
He is one of the best figures that fits well next to a vintage MOTU.
Dude, I've never heard of these before! Pretty cool! Would be pretty neat if Mattel could fold them into MOTUC. Reminds me of how Icon and the other Dakotaverse guys got folded into the main DC Universe.
Sun-Man is pretty cool, I would love to see him and Pig Head get MOTUC treatment. This looked like one of the higher quality knock-off lines. I can totally picture a Sun-Man and He-Man mini-comic team-up where they battle Skeletor and Pig Head. It would be better than when Spidey met Superman in the 70's comic crossover!
Mattel should absorb the entire collection. heheh

I had Bolt Man and Holographo, and they were awesome.
I always laugh when I see that cross sell shot with all of them and it looks like Zap Man is fighting with a pair of SORRY! games pieces! :hmlol:
It's funny that a line all about racial diversity ended up having some of the most racially stereotyped characters possible...Space Sumo, DigiTINO....SERIOUSLY LOL! :sklol:
I love Pig-Head. He might honestly be my all time favorite action figure.
Gee, which one of these guys do you think got beat up a lot...(is it Digitino? Yes, yes it is).
I have Space Sumo and Pig Head. Space Sumo can be stood on his flat top hairdo! :hmlol:
If I ever won the lottery I'd make a play for the old Olmec property (along with Butterfly Woman) and try to revive it.
That's the kind of line Working Class Villains guys should be looking for. :hmwink:
I misinterpreted the title. I thought they used a picture of He-Man and "shaded" it in to make Sun-Man! Cool find, Tallstar! :)
Here's the response from a moderator on Matty about Sun-Man:
Mattel doesn't have the license for, Sun Man, so, Toyguru cannot comment on the subject.
Sorry.
Something I figured, but no hurt in asking. Maybe Clamp Champ will have an alternate head that will allow for some Olmec customizing.
Is it possible to ask about Blackstar ?
Probably they will do the same answer above....On the other hand, they could explain about legal rights, since Blackstar (and Bravestarr too) was a Filmation (now Classic Media ) release....
Do you have any information about that ?
Thanks for your answer !
Are you registered there ?

[EDIT]
It seens TG aswered our question about Blackstar and Bravestarr !
Unfortunately, as we all expected, his answer was: "No. We do not currently have the rights to either of these properties"
I still think an exclusive SDCC2013 4-pack with He-Man Filmation, She-Ra Filmation, Blackstar and Bravestarr, would be an aswesome homage to 30th anniversary Filmation cartoon next year.
I hope I'm not duplicating a thread, I couldn't find any with Search.
I thought I was familiar with most of the legitimate MOTU knock offs (as opposed to bootlegs), but stumbled across this today. I knew Olmec made compatible figures for G.I. Joe but wasn't aware they made a line of MOTU-compatible figures too. Have to be honest, from the pics, they look pretty neat. Anyone here have any of these? What's the quality like?

EDIT: Okay, so there *was* an existing thread. Sorry about that. Still, anyone out there know how the quality of these were like?
The quality is pretty good. Close to MotU quality.
