What will her tentacles be made out of? I'm assuming, given the trouble with Snout Spout, that foam is not an option.

Will the tentacles be posable? Or will they be more like Slushhead's?

Thanks again for the amazing lineup and the reveals! My only regret is that I couldn't have been there to witness the unveiling first hand.

The tentacles will be closer to Slushead. The swords are removeable.

Interesting! I doubt it's a Castle Grayskull play set. Not with the decline in sub sales. Should be interesting to hear what it is though...maybe the movie is FINALLY going to be realized?

Line cancellation? Grayskull? The mind boggles. Sadly, with recent events, I would say cancellation, but there is always eternal hope. :hmgrin:

I think it's Grayskull, well I'm hoping. I don't think a movie announcement means anything until shooting starts. My other choices would be a second sub or just more figures, or a new cartoon.

If a live-action movie has been greenlighted into production, then Mattel might give Classics the financial shot in the arm that it needs. We might see a full on media blitz. Hopefully the movie will be good...

Well, news on the movie front has been heating up quite a lot lately, with Jon Chu being all-but confirmed as director and the producer saying that hopefully it will start shooting next year. Could be something to do with that. Although, Scott usually has a way with words. A very hyperbolic way with words. So I’m not getting too excited. Probably just to announce some MOTU pyjamas or something.

This all depends on what "Biggest Announcement Ever" means to Scott.

I'm not picking on Scott but he also said the SDCC Reveals were going to be the best ever and most people thought the reveals were kind of meh. I hope the announcement is big news, something fantastic and I'm looking forward to hearing what it is.

In all honesty... What could really be a bigger announcement than the Filmation rights?
I'm not sure what else could top that... Maybe the Castle Grayskull playset?
Maybe movie is actually getting made, though I really fear that a lot of fans would be upset by anything and everything in a movie.

Scott has repeatedly put the death nail in Grayskull and more vehicles . . . I guess it's a movie. I want MOTUC Castle Grayskull more than anything.

Wow this place has become so cynical people think it's going to be the cancellation of the line?

I don't think Mattel would boost a big announcement and have it be cancellation of the line. The Eternian pitchforks and torches would chase them out of Power-Con.

I think the news is that the 2014 sub will be offered next summer.

Or maybe Digital River is being dumped?

Wait! I got it! The Mighty Spector is crossing over into DC and will soon be available in all the "color me rainbow" lantern outfits!

Biggest news ever for me would be:

* No more black plastic!
* 2014 is going through will be at least 12 figures.

Scott, I dare you to top that.

How exciting! My main hope is for it to be Filmation related or The Battle Ram, but with that phrase I think it'll be kinda disappointing and misleading if it's not Castle Grayskull or genuine movie news.

They don't care about day of sales. They will all sell out due to low production numbers. It would of course make sense to want to sell as many products as possible. But they have pigeon holed themselves into a business model where potential to sell more product hurts them.
