Exactly. What is stopping anyone from cancelling their CC next year, losing their CC card, dying, going to prison, nuclear war etc. etc. ? Bottom-line is there are no guarantees what is going to happen a year from now. I swear it feels like they don't want to make this thing when 1000's of us are saying we want it by giving them our CC info. It's very frustrating.

Obviously it takes David Copperfield & Nikola Tesla to figure that out.

Likely they are legit transactions, possibly more toy sites that never came in before to capitalize on the popularity of CG, or the bulk orders of people helping overseas or other organizations out, or something along those lines....we're likely just fine....and I can still get a chance to order as soon as I know my finances for next year....

Agreed. People can't act shocked and outraged they didn't have enough time when they had a month advance warning just to put the preorder in. It's not like they were being charged the $250 off the bat when they put it in. Some people Woukd have been complaining even if they had two or three months it wasn't enough time. It's not Matty nor our fault they chose to procrastinate.

No, the meter wasn't updated yesterday because it would've shown us over the goal. More people would see us over goal than would hear about bulk-order-gate and issues would ensue. The thermometer update is on hold like everything else.
