The Slime Pit - Granamyr's skull and claw?

I think the skull and claw of the 1980s 'Slime Pit' resembles Granamyr. Coincidence?

I reffer to it as Granamyr's skull, in my Masters Quest game, as I set the time frame of the game as hapening in the future of Filmation, where in Adam is then King Adam, and Hordac returns and steals the Sun Stone or Diamond Ray, and uses it for mind control.

Although it may just be a coincidence, as I'm sure there are many dragons out there.
