A fairly quiet but enjoyable evening with a few friends at a local pub. Nice selection of real ales!

My wife made a pork roast and some glazed carrots. I made mashed potatoes. We ate dinner. I finished reading Casino Royale by Ian Fleming. We dozed off, woke up around 10:30pm, watched the New Year's episode of Mr. Bean, watched a few more Mr. Bean episodes, drank some sparkling cider at midnight, watched a little more Mr. Bean, and then I played video games until 3am.
I was working and when I got off we ate well, watched a crappy movie and watched the fire-works. :)
