I posted some pics and words about the Castle of Power Orc conversion kit. Short version: It's awesome.
Nice! I like the added metallic blue bits. Instead of cutting the hole in the chest, I took the advice in this thread and shaved down the peg on the flap and cut into the flap a little bit for a...
Amazing! I am loving the redesigns.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
I think that's an interesting point, Niki, and I might have agreed prior to playing with Rio and the Space Mutants together. They really seemed to fit well...
I made one and VeeBee has one, so if you are asking about mine here is a breakdown:
Grass is a sheet of grass paper from Michael's craft store(they usually sell it around christmas time near the...
I really like the idea of Stridor as Rio Blast's horse. Robot horse for a cyborg cowboy fits. It's a shame about the thick armor and flap issue, because those two things distract from an otherwise...
Entrapta is pretty great. I do wish there had been one more cut in the hair so it could swivel forward for a frontal attack, but the tails are beautifully sculpted. I even like the way the shaping...
Wow! I can see the Frazetta in there!
2. Masks of Power Demon
3. Other Masks of Power Demon
4. Kex Queen
5. Ice Hacker
Thanks for looking, I appreciate the kind words.
BCR - the props - books, bottles, jars and whatnot are all from my old Buffy the Vampire Slayer collection. I sculpted the cauldron out of fixit...
I ended up being one, with the exception of the super rare raffle figures like Spirit of Grayskull and the Chrome She-Ra I have everything. I was going to skip the two-pack repaints, but I eventually...
Man, I love this thread!
Haradrel, I like the Filters you are using on these latest pics and the Skeletor backdrop is perfection. Cool blast effects, btw.
What are you using for your NA...
Good stuff, MOTUForever. I especially like the first panel.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I'm wrapping up August's figures with a look at Madame Razz:
These are great. I love the style.
Very cool. It's like 4H meets Pixar.
I need my fix!
Cool! The Cy-Chop head looks excellent on that body and the spector gear is improved greatly by the addition of the Grayskull ghost symbol. Good stuff.
I'm all for new characters sprinkled in there from the 4H, Nate, Axel and Brandon.
Thanks! I decided on the sand because of her origin episode in the Sand Valley.
More Flutterina pics are up:
Beautiful and smooth work. I really like the base as well.
Too cool. I actually liked all of the figures you are swapping out for your new guy, but he looks great.
I hadn't heard that about green laser pointers, but it's only there for a matter of seconds. I'm sure the figures take more heat just from the fact that they are in my so-cal, non-insulated garage. ...
Thanks for the great feedback, guys. I appreciate it. Clamp Champ will get his day, just not soon.
Alexx, I did the same thing with my vintage figures. Always on a cliff. Always. ...
That's interesting, my Skeletor lines up a little better at the belt line with the ab crunch all the way forward. Not a lot better, but a little. :)
Yeah, I've gone back and forth on these and the latest pics with the group shots have sold me. I think the bundles are the way to go for me.
Cool pic! I really like the backdrop.
Ordered my one sub, #611.
