Several years ago, when MOTUC sales were stronger, they were buying 150-200 subs per year. I have no idea how many they are purchasing this year. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if it is around 100.
It's reliably rumored that Twistoid and Rotar will be the 2015 SDCC exclusive so they won't be part of the 2015 sub.
I've already purchased two subs. Expressing dissatisfaction isn't going to kill the line. Quite frankly I find it ridiculous that anyone would even suggest that it will.
I was using Mattel logic to make a joke. :hmwink:
There almost always seems to be some excuse for squashing negative rhetoric instead of actually lobbying Mattel for change. In this instance it would be helpful if Mattel would assume the burden of...
Actually what we needed was for Mattel to stop reversing shoulders, quit making inexcusable design decisions, and make some attempt to ensnare new customers or at least retain the ones they had. We...
Do fans want the meter updated or do they want the line's limited resources to go toward producing characters like Dragstor?
I wouldn't be surprised if it's Dare and I also wouldn't be shocked if he is the December release.
I tried to rate these based upon execution and not how well I like the actual characters.
Eldor - 6/10
Sweet Bee - 5/10
Tung Lashor - 10/10
NA She-Ra - 9/10
Arrow - 8/10
Although I love the Battle Cat buck, I wouldn't have any interest in them.
I wouldn't be surprised if it came with Mara.
My remaining top vintage want is Dragstor.
This figure is incredible. It's my favorite sub exclusive figure so far. I hope the heads turn out as well in production. At least we won't have to worry about fat armor.
I'm not a fan of the 200X King Hiss design but this two pack is incredible. I appreciate the inclusion of the 200X He-Man head (although it makes Mattel's initial rhetoric about Filmation Hordak seem...
She wasn't high on my priority list but I think she turned out extremely well.
I'm going to guess the remaining spot will be Dare and he could be the last figure released in MOTUC.
I bought 2 a few days ago which should bring us to 694.
109 Jet Sleds. There are 1,175 Flogg figures and 703 Castle Grayskulls left.
I agree. It's absolutely mind boggling that Mattel's design team was content with it not remotely closing all the way. How could anyone who takes pride in their work be happy with those results?
LEGO isn't experiencing that problem. :hmwink: Of course LEGO is in tune with their customer base and consistently delivers products their fan's actually want.
He should have had a brand new torso instead of an overlay. It's ridiculous that the flap isn't remotely flush when closed. They could accomplish it in the 80's but apparently not in 2014. Isn't it...
Absolutely and unequivocally, no.
Evil Seed (MYP)
Must haves that probably won't get produced in 2015:
Evil Seed (MYP)
Battle Armor Marlena (MYP)
King Miro (MYP)
Captain Randor (MYP)
The Horsemen's prototypes have pin holes in the rear of the shoulders. It would be highly noticeable if they were assembled incorrectly. Eric is also extremely conscientious about minute details when...
