Great to hear this!
In past MOTU titles have gotten previews from one week to 2 days before publication day...
So they mention it as wraparound cover. But also make a "villains" version.
In "heroes" front side there will be good guys and comic's backside will be bad guys.
Buuuut that makes no sense for...
In this pre-sale its just as single cover. Not split in two.
eBay item # 191963926316
Kinda like a "every other will have it" -scenario? LOL
Art of He-Man - Yes
Minicomic Collection - No
Animated Guide - Yes
Newspaper Strip - (propably no?)
Character Guide - (hopefully yes?)
Background as in text informing about the history of Filmation He-Man and She-Ra?
Background as in images of Snake Mountain or other locations?
....answer is yes to both questions....
Yeah. I found it some time ago too.

Lucked out and got mine yesterday.
Looks like fun!
Given that they have done that treatment to the 2 books before Animated Guide already, I think the trend will continue with future books.
I see there is listed "Coloring Book Variant Edition" :hmconf::hmconf::hmconf:
After speaking with Aidan, I will tell you that the Interview is gonna Rock!
Looks amazing! The books will look SO GREAT on our shelves!
There was TOY MASTERS documentary that focused on Roger Sweet and Mark Taylor (and many others) on who came up with the concept of He-Man. If I recall correctly it is finished and has been shown at...
I really appreciate their efforts to make a retro-vibed VSH tape. And as one-off exclusive item, its really fun.
Though the cover choise is an odd one, cause yeah it shows Skeletor and the place...
Is there any text or historical information on the backs of the artworks for each character etc?
"...at the time it was just a job and it has been a long time since then..."
Ah, the answer or the likes there of... that I've sadly heard many times when I've researched and interviewed people.
A cool article about upcoming new Dark Horse Books!
The Character Guide is mentioned there!
Also in case you didn't see, Aidan "Mosquitor" Cross posted this:
I heard it like "Hell-Dor" to emphasize the hellish nature.
Would be more than awesome.
Though as they did showcase having Alan Oppenheimer in the trailer, I would think they'd promote having He-Man himself there too.... Erwin did originally Beast Man's...
Not per say.
It's made by Super7 who have produced MOTU related merchandise in the past under license from Mattel. So they have working
relationship. And since this cartoon-clip will be sold...
From what I remember of the story notes, that's not Smoke in the comic. Its just a horse.
Though I would really love it, if one day we would get some concept art or model-images of...
As I understand it, these are the very first characters for MOTU.
Hordak propably was not in anyone's mind back in 1981 yet. :hoshift:
Looks like its mainly the B-sheet artworks in a "portfolio". That's the point of it in this presentation. Looks terrific!
What additional content do you hope there would be?
It is final cover.
- when cover artworks are solicited 3-4 months before the publication, they don't have logos (you can see this in cover arts to Superman, Batman and many more) ;)
I mostly remember your prediction it would be two variant covers like DCU vs MOTU that can be connected.
...which we now have...
What did you predict? Cause the Solicitations did not say this would be 1A and 1B covers (as was the case back with DCU VS MOTU).
I'm still going with my prediction its a wraparound-cover where...
Hmm. I could understand the 1A and 1B variant cover idea for DCU VS MOTU.
You had two "brands" clashing against each other. And depending if you are DCU fan or Masters-fan, you could get either...
