Great stuff, but something I learned is that for shading on clothes and all, adjust the saturation levels of the COLOR you're using. It'll give a less plastic-like finish.

For the Filmation style stuff, I'd say to cut down on the details of the outfit some to really give it the right look. We all know how characters would lose detail from the model sheet by the time...
