Mr. George is alive and live in Los Angeles.
Just got in touch with the folks from the TOY MASTERS documentary and Gary Goddard, and they gave us some interesting news:
Over the last couple months Gary Goddard -- the director of MASTERS OF THE...
There are some possibilites, but we ares stil evaluating what the options are :)
We've checked and that his moving extremely slow :( Not much we can do if not just wait until it's approved.
I fail to see how this is a good thing though :D
Surely, I don't want MOTU to be succesful because it's bad. I hope no one of you want that too.
Actually this made me thing about a discussion I...
Totally disagree, I've heard that from we-know-who before and I still think it's bad idea and a bad way to look at stuff.
To make a familiar example, according this any bad talking about He-Man.org...
I wasn't defending myslef :)
I was indeed talking about those other people you mentioned. Because I get slightly upset every time I read the word haters :D
99% of them doesn't hate everything Scott...
You know what I actually hate? That any criticism or opinion that doens't immediatly approve or support Mattel's or Scott's choices is labeled as hate and vile.
It is not. It's criticism based...
Sure, everyone likes what they likes, no problem.
You know, you don't need to put a positive spin for every critique I do. Sky is not falling, that was just my opinion.
A bad story is a bad story, no matter if it's the only means of storytelling...
Oksy, so the big credits still go to the 4H dont' you think? It was their concept that got the gears really moving.
Maybe. But that is just pure speculation. There is no indication they wanted...
Sorry sir, but you're 100% wrong :)
The 4H basically created the line. They came up with the concept, the created the He-Man prototype, they pitched it to Mattel's managment.
All this unsolicited....
Because it's another example of good intention and (very) bad execution.
Per Scott's words, the bios are meant to be a vehicle to introduce and market as many characters possible.
You don't kill...
Pyre:
thank you for claryfing, I knew you didn't really had bad intention :)
It's all cool, and I hope to be able to get back to your PM soon too ;)
You wanna pick apart a piece I did 12 years ago at the very beginning of my career? Be my guest :)
I can point out the intense flaws myself ;)
Pyre, are you actually getting offended...
Sorry, I believed Josh replied, I will do it today! :)
Yep, no Wind Raiders at all here, and I know many others Italian Fans are in the same situations.
All the other items are taking longer too, but they are arriving, but not the Wind Raiders.
Since...
An entire castle built on the ribcage of a giant dead creature is less creepy? :hmwink:
Guys, it's very simple: Mattel moves it employees around often.
Usually every 2-3 years, brand managers get reshufled and assigned to new brands. Scott is just saying that can happen at any time,...
I did the cover for the NYCC comic book they made and one of the internal spreads. The poster was that cover.
I'm feeling so depressed for David. I left him a message on FB, among dozens of other...
Oh no!!!! :( :( :(
I know David, I feel horrible for him!
You don't just put out products and new brands out without any research and serius planning. I dont' believe Hasbro is sitting on these brands, it takes years to fully develop a brand relaunch. They...
Hello Luis,
you can contact The Power and The Honor Foundation about this, we'll be happy to answer your questions.
You can find us at our site and you can contact us direclty at...
I honestly have no idea. You can just hope he looks at this thread and find the idea interesting enough.
Just to clarify further: we didn't claim ownership on the concepts. We do own the original physical photos.
Mattel only has a photocopy of the photo given to them by Roger Sweet, but as far as I...
I very much agree :)
Also, so far, He-Man.org as no working relationship with Mattel, there are only informal contacts.
Oh, I got it what you mean.
But things works this way: they woulnd't proceed with anything unless they are 100% sure they are clear legally.
BTW, he was involved in all the first MOTUs, he did...
Why?
They just don't own it and can't prove it's real, why there should be a lawsuit about it?:hmconf:
Unfortunately, there are a lot of politcs and legalities involved with doign this.
Mattel dones't own the prorotype, and Mattel legal won't let it happen unless they have the original artist signign...
I've seen many, I have one too. Definitely not a prototype. Unless someone can score the original art for that :D
That woud be greatly appreciated.
Besides getting his name wrong, we talked a lot about him in the first Foundation catalog were we showed one of early sculpt of He-Man, and we planned to feature...
