Thanks again everyone!
Thanks! Up close the printed figure is still a long way from the quality of figures you can buy in stores. But it is a cool exercice in what might be possible in the future.

Awesome review Dan! I am sooo looking forward to this figure.
That is a great little story. DC should hire you to do some actual comics this way.
Love them!
I quite like him. He looks like some cyborg warrior from an 80s direct to video post-apocalyptic sci fi movie. And I mean that as a compliment.
Your photos are always sooo awesome. The Ram Man pics are definitely my favorites. I cannot wait to see you take pictures of NA He-Man.
To be fair Beast Wars (Truck not Monkey!!!!!) had a hard time establishing itself with the fans as well. Beast Machines even more. But eventually Transformers fans just got used to having a new...

Here is a great video review of the Mechawhales figure by Pixel Dan!
Thanks for postint that pic. It is probably the nicest shot of him in his armor I have seen so far. Man I love this figure.
The Mechawhales figure is featured in the latest issue of Previews catalog, page 432. This might be especially interesting for people living outside the U.S. who want to avoid shipping and custom...
1) NA He-Man
2) Castle Grayskull
3) Mantenna
4) Batros
5) Icer
6) Shokoti
7) Castaspella
After seeing the reveals I am quite happy I got a subscription this year. NA He-Man alone would have probably been worth it to me.
I do not collecto Mint on Card so bags would be o.k. Reduced painting and accessories not so much. Also all the figures I would still like to get (Extendar, Rokkon, Rio Blast) would require a whole...
How about you open just some of them to see how it works out for you. For example if you have multiple version of He-Man just open one variant and see if it is not better to appreciate the opened...
The original toyline and later NA. Never watched the Filmation cartoon as a kid. Do not care for it now. Did not care much for POP as a kid. Do not care for it now. I prefer the original minicomics...
I am not a big Filmation fan and do not care at all for the Fang Man character. But even I have to say that as a figure he is quite nice. He has a good sculpt, a uniquge body pose and a decent amount...
Some really nice character designs!
Thanks! Animation time was done over a period of 2 months. However I did not exclusively work on the animation during that time.
Here is the second Mechawhales animation to go with the release of the Mechawhale PVC figure:

I hope you like it, Hauke
He-Man was quite succesfull in Germany and the cartoon did not air here until 1988 when the toyline was as good as over. But granted we did not have a lot to choose from action figure wise so He-Man...
1. Most Impressive Heroic Warrior Castle Grayskullman
2. Most Impressive Evil Warrior Slush Head
3. Most Impressive Female Figure Shadow Weaver
4. Most Impressive Male Figure Castle Grayskullman...
That is the first time I thought She-Ra was cool. Really liked that comic.

Those 5000 He-Mans would have to get back to their originial point in time eventually. If any one of the 5000 He-Mans would die in battle he could not be brought back to the day he was pulled from....
Maybe the scecret doors are magical and only open from within the castle so they can be used as secret escape routes but not as entrances. That is how I imgaine them to be anyway.
Nice especially for people like me who display the figures in several rows in their shelf. The figures behind the first line will be much better to see with those.
The first NA He-Man also did not have the left lower arm guard. That is also a little nod to the cartoon version. Or it might just be because they reused the left arm from Bow. :-)
That looks quite impressive to me.
