Val,
What is your take on the MOTUC releasing a WB He-man? Is Mattel admitting they have no idea how this figure was released but makes a great marketing ploy?
I can't even admit the WB He-man...
Someday someone will find out where these figures came from. Alot of people have tried and no definative answers have surfaced.
David
I think I need to post an updated picture of WB He-man/Savage He-man. He is still in a tupperware box at my parents house. Arkangel has the scan Darren did several years ago and it's still in...
When I was collecting I tried for 5 years to get a FF He-man/TC Skeletor, but could never-ever find one. Same goes for the Battle for Eternia. When I first saw the He-man jet sled go up on ebay...
If I had to do it over again, probably would not have bought it. One of the last few things we ever bought. He's been a tupperwear box for the last 8 years.
What is funny is the last He-man Jet Sled I saw on ebay, oh 10 years or so ago, went for less than $500. You tell me who got a good deal. The person who won that auction shall remain hidden.
I...
Actually,
Darren's and mine collection just found a nice new home, in the laundry room! I made sure the 3-packs were kept in the closet. Bro, our room is no more, not even the display case is in...
I really feel sometimes things get rediculous in life; and paying over 10k for a toy is one of them. I don't like to tell people how to spend their money and believe they have the right to do with...
PM me and I can send you a picture of the front and back of Darren's and mine from our collection. It is a little bit differnt view than Pete's.
Do foregin 8-back count on this thread?
I think I have 2 Zodac 8-backs...somewhere.
David
Is'nt putting your cards up on a wall with thumb tacks streatching the peg holes?
I knew you had them all along, by the way.
David
All I am saying is 10 years is a long time to not see a product. And with the information age in full swing you would think at least 1 would have popped up.
I even remember when Peter got the...
Hold on a minute Carlo. You have drilled several people here but I have yet to see you back up your claim with a pic.
SHOW ME THE MONEY!
David
I would just like to say that I think your pieces are awesome and you have some great talent. Kudos mate.
I also understand what FTL@ is saying about his concern of fakes on the market and I...
I agree though, the auction is a bit pricy for the pieces in it. Yea there are 2 really nice pieces (Man E Weapons and a 3 pack) but would'nt the seller be better off auctioning these figures out...
This is just a FYI. I thought this thread would have started by now but I could not find it. Darren sent me this link and I was surprised when I saw it. If you can afford it then go right on ahead...
I think Darren ran a survey on his site some years ago when his He-man site was running. I have it on my computer and the ratio was 15 green to 3 Glows. Now consider that was about 3-4 years ago...
So they released the Binotop, Turbodactyl, and T-rex but no He-ro. What gives? I seems mattel had big plans for the line but in the end too late to save the MOTU line. Gigantisaur would have been...
ditto bro.
Auctions like this get me in an uproar. I remeber way back in 98 when I bid a hundred bucks for a poster that now goes for around 20...we all have horror stories I'm sure from stupid...
Yes, by todays market Darren and I got these pretty cheap and there was at least one by Mr. Sanders if not 2 of them. I miss the days of cheap MOTU stuff.
I remember when we got an MISB Eternia...
Then I need help, what is a good program to change a size of a picture; Photoshop? I have plenty I could post but they are all to big to upload to the site. I need some help on this.
Regards,...
Well, I will say there were some which I found harder to find than others. I will agree the most common is the Buzz Off-Moss Man-Mechaneck 3 pack and is also the one you can most of the time find in...
In my humbile opinion, the high bidder got screwed from the name change snipers. If the seller was honest he/she would allow the bid to be dropped down before those guys came in and ran the price...
I miss college too when I collected. Darrens and my collection have been in boxes for 5 years now; at our parents house. Some day I guess we will really get down to catarizing them.
...
Looking at this guys other stuff I would say he's a little out in left field. But what ever floats your boat is cool with me.
...Estate vintage; isnt that a dead persons stuff?

Yes all they are still out there...
Battle for Eternia. Makes the 3rd one I've seen in 7 years.
David
I got my CD a couple of weeks ago and I must say I am impressed. This disk contains alot of those figures which are hardley ever seen. If you are an extreme collectionist or just would like some...
Well there you have it! Peter would know anything and all about prototypes.
David
Scare Glower, I think, has said it best. The Battle for Eternia is a tuff one to find. FF He-man and TC Skeletor is another tuff one. 3 packs are just plain expensive.
