These are great, well done!
Yeah, I tried to come up with a creative ways to remove the plastic and leave it in tact. Turns out, its best to just go along that seam and I guess put clear tape back on top to seal it back up.
Oh yeah, I could go for a Whip-Ratt-Trapitor!
I'm wondering how that helmet would look on the first NA He-Man if you just to add it vs. doing a full head swap.
I talked to Penny Dreadful this morning while she was running the toy room and there about half the boxes left to be shipped Monday.
First night here at my first Power-Con, already having a good time.
I'm liking the badge. Looks like there are plenty of MOTUC figures for everyone. I really hope the eBay prices drop off for those unable to attend - lots of people in line seemed like they just...
Bags are packed, gotta work a half day Friday, then flying in from Denver in the afternoon! Finally booked the Super Shuttle - what a deal. Only issue is the convention is a mile from In N Out...
I woke up thinking the same thing. One week from right now!!
Same here, feel sorry for anyone that signed up for a cool new MOTU item and there was none to be found.
Awesome news! That Saturday schedule is epic!!!
A few questions from a Power-Con newbie:
1. Is the Toy Room just for picking up the exclusives, or are displays and vendors found there as well?
After today's news, all I really want to see at Power-Con is that Snake Mountain mock-up, and assurance from Mattel that it is still coming!
Thanks for replying. Not sure how they went from awesome concept to nothing.
Whatever happened to this project? I can't remember getting any updates after pledging.
I'm not sure about Snout Spout, but those other two were definitely among the MOTUC figures at Big Lots a few years back.
Inedible work! Thanks for sharing. I think I'll have to look at Smurf accessories next time I'm at the toy store.
Great work dude! I love the giant hands. How did you attach the shin guards?
The limited edition CD that came with the DVD set was basically the tracks from an old cassette. As far as I can tell each of these tracks were included in the 2-disc set in addition to dozens more....
Very original, and great execution! I doubt Mattel will ever make this figure, as I don't think they will mash up the He-man hair on a female head sculpt
I just watched the review with my kids, nicely done Dan. We recently watched your review of the first MOTUC Trap Jaw figure and wow what a difference six years makes. :-)
Thankfully mine has good...
I was just thinking, is there a filmation episode where trap jaw gets hit on the head and the paint job on the eyes would actually fit that scene?
Group A: gold and black weapons are from Sectaurs.
Group E has some Roboto hand attachments mixed in with some non MOTU stuff.
If anyone is looking to split a room for Friday or Saturday night, send me a PM. I'm booked at the Howard Johnson across the street. :p
14 inches of snow couldn't keep me from the mailbox. :-)
I hope it's a Rotar & Twistoid 2 pack that will be available after the show on Matty for subscribers. :-)
Serpentine King Hssss got one, maybe it was already written..
Nice job! Thanks for sharing.
Great work! Thanks for sharing!
Nice review, a better explanation on the figure's background than most people are sharing.
