Thanks for the votes, everybody. 'Twas a fun character to tackle. And thanks for dragging me back in for this one. :skwink:
decided to take my Kronis concept from the latest redesign challenge and flesh out the design in zbrush. Here's a WIP with a quick sketch-over just to give you an idea of where it's heading. Super...
man, this is going to be a close one
Glad to hear everything is okay. I'll plan to have mine posted this weekend.
Gahhh ... Doesn't look like Kronis will be finished in time ... I'll post the finished version when I get a chance.
Another work-in-prog. More gear, more detail, and more anatomy tweaks; finally have an idea in mind for that arm contraption of his ...
Another work-in-progress ... still not sure what I want to do with this his mechanical arm, but whatever it is, I hope it's nasty.
Workin' on it. ;) I'll try to post another work-in-progress either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Dude ... NICE. Absolutely LOVE the lighting and general looseness of the images. Great stuff.
Several board members have asked me about taking part in one of these redesign challenges ... i'm normally way too busy, but ... seeing as how this is Trapjaw we're talking about, I can't resist. ...
That Wraptor is SICK dude. One of my favorites. Great job on that.
LOVE that Jitsu design
@Zombihamma-AI: Love the layered Germanic barbarian feel of this. Is this the same direction you'd take with the remainder of the MotU cast?
As time permits ;)
Right on, man. Just recently began poking around the forums again, myself. Looking forward to seeing more of your work, for sure. Let's get some redesigns goin'. :)
That's awesome dude.
ArtRage is awesome, sort of a "Painter Lite." Alchemy is a great open drawing tool, as well: http://al.chemy.org/
Absolutely not.
NATE, free up some time.
(if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is)
Still diggin' the style, man. Lookin' good. :skwink:
Love the angular, sketchy quality. It's cool to see you push a more traditional media look, as that's definitely the "Baertsch" style. Keep it comin.
dude... these are killer. Now if only you'd start your own MotU web comic... :)
Busy as Hades.
Apparently this is the kind of thing I miss when I leave for awhile. :skwink:
Great stuff, man.
I'm working on getting it updated.
Redesigning a universe... One character at a time. :skwink:
I love those ideas, dude. For sure. :skwink:
As far as color is concerned... I'd go for a unified color scheme to contrast the more whimsical design. Definitely dark, foreboding colors, tho...
