Good work Joe, as always.
Very slick! Factory looking!
More figures? Yes, I have a bunch. I haven't made many lately, but over the years I have. I need to finish updating my site, but all my figure stuff is here-...
Most of my Vintage style customs are inspired (either with a gross direct resemblance or loose inspiration) by wrestling characters. This newest one is inspired by an Indy wrestler named Spoiler...
Cool! I like the concept and reasoning behind it. Looks factory vintage, like it should!
Anyone know who will have the license to the figures? They have to step it up for this round. I hope someone other than Jazzware's can take the lead. Any word?
Awesome customs. Fantastic execution on the paint and fusion of the parts and style. They look truly bootleg (in a good way)! They remind me of the Mannix style bootlegs.
I'll be doing many of my favorite Mortal Kombat characters in MOTUV style. Here is my Goro. I'll post the others when I get them done.
Joe Amato - One of the best! Great work man!
Once again sir, awesome. You are highly inspiring!
Inspired by this art
Head: Mohawk guy (not sure of the origin. From a knock off MOTU fig) Hair from a Grizzlor Vintage.
Almost true to the art. I didn't paint the chest...
My car broke down... I must part with my favorite (and my only MOTUC figs left) to pay for my car repairs. Please help me out.
My Headhacker custom is in there :(
Am I the only one not seeing a pic?
The MOTUC version of my character's head is not my work. I wish it was, but it is a hood from a WCW Toybiz Lex Luger "Torture Rack" figure simply repainted. Thanks for the comments :)
Wow, thanks everyone! I love the feedback. My intent was to make it mesh well with the vintage toys, so I guess I got it!
masterenglish, that is an honor that you would even ask. I'll PM you.
Thanks! Yes, I did. I actually sculpted it on a separate, extra torso and then dremeled out the torso. This way I could paint the body and mask separate. I can now slip the new head right on top of...
You may or may not have seen my custom MOTUC Horde Executioner "Head-Hacker", but I decided to continue my personal trend and "de-classisize" my character and make a vintage version of him. Check him...
Same here, to be honest. Too many characters I would not buy in any case, retail or cherry picking, so I don't want to spend money on so many guys I do not care for. This past year I did for just a...
There is a tag under the non-current WWE wrestlers that say "Not available for purchase". So, I guess that He-Man is just a tease, as well as Andre, Warrior, and Macho
I have one loose/complete minus the comic. I'll PM you as well
????? This is awesome... right? Why not, I say, but still a bit odd. I see customs on their way!
I did as well, but with no reply.
Do you need them MOC?
Cool! I love it. It looks factory (not in the reverse shoulder exploding hip kind of way)
Thanks so much! Anything from you is a compliment my man! I'd still love to see what you were thinking...
Fright armor! Nice!!!
The face plate is not removable, but if this were "produced" then it would be. It wouldn't have stayed on if I didn't glue it in place. Plus, I have an extra Hordak head if I want to display it...
I was thinking of an answer to the "Battle Armor" He-man and Skeletor for Hordak. Maybe this was his "final battle" armor or something, I don't have a real reason. I think it turned out well and is...
I see that, but I paid him on the 8th for stuff and haven't heard back. Why the rolling eyes?
Where you at, buddy?
Hey man, if you could please message me. I paid you a while back and I received no confirmation of shipment, much less a response to what's going on. You still around?
