Why haven't any of these new character been designed around a gimmick? I know that the final figure wouldn't have a gimmick but that is how old masters were designed.

mattel won't release a weapons pack of brand new items. if you want something like this you'll need to wait until they are all created for a figure first.

I think many people originally thought that MOTUC were over priced at $20, double of similar lines like DCUC or Marvel Legends.

I've always felt we have been getting more figure for our money....

So the New Adventures have been brought into classics continuity by setting them in the future.
