+1 for me.
Yeah, I've pulled one apart for custom work, there's no way to get that face plate off without major elbow grease. It's pretty firmly glued in place.
A friend of mine gave me an incomplete Fright Zone playset. Since I already own a complete and minty one, I decided to make this:
I've never really been a fan of the vintage Snake Mountain playset. Even as a kid I found it pretty disappointing, but when a friend of mine gave me a beat up one, I decided to try to transform it...
Nice work, those look like they could have been vintage characters!
Finally got me a Scareglow today, this guy is really photogenic!
Now that is an Evil-lyn figure I'd get behind. Perfect!
I think we'll see at least a few MOTU figures in 2016 in Classics scale. The good news is the cost of oil has dropped pretty drastically, which should help to keep the price of plastic down, which...
PM sent.
Very cool, nice use of parts!
This is excellent, nice design choices!
The shadows are all wrong. The shadow off of his head indicates it was filmed at 12:32 on a Saturday, but the shadow off of his shoulders and the figures on the table suggest it was filmed at...
Thank you Scott!
I dig him!
I'm really surprised how awesome the Plunder body looks with that head, great work!
I'm really eager to get both, but 200x is looking like a long shot at the moment.
Thanks! Most of these were built from 200x MOTU accessories. The hands are from 200x Man-E-Faces. The flamethrower is from a G.I. Joe Sigma 6...
Thanks for all the positive feedback, this was a fun project, glad you like him!
Thanks, that's what I was going for. Those early comics are my favorite MOTU-verse.
I know a lot of people have problems with this figure, but I think he totally fits in with the vintage figure design concepts. I decided I wanted some extra weapons for him, so I threw these together...
Here's a character I cobbled together out of parts in the fodder bin. In MOTU fashion (The Sorceress, The Goddess,) I dubbed him The Warlock.
Thanks for looking!
If they were done really well and priced at $10 or less I would have a hard time passing them up. That being said, I can't see both of those conditions being met.
+1 for me. 224.
I've been using playmobil rocks to build some pretty decent Eternian landscapes. These ones are the "western" rock sets.
I really want a 200x Beast Man. I love the hulking-brute look they gave him.
Awesome work, they all look great!
To be honest, I'd love just about any MOTU game right about now :hmsad::hmwink:.
I want Skyrim, but MOTUed up. Lots of quests, dungeons and locations. Start as an archetypal fantasy character, then chose a faction to join up with. Lots of cool weapons and power ups. I can dream...
The one without the plug can clip onto post next to the plug in one. That way you can attach it to the wall or pull it off and attach it to a figure.
Many thanks for the feedback!
