THAT was my point.
All MOTU characters are made up. Thats the point. Its imagination without limit. :hmeek:
When I saw the snake man designs here, for a brief moment I felt like they were real...and I was excited as I was when I was a kid. THIS is the feeling the line has been missing. Sure I am excited...
Awesome! I have a big window shade that I can keep down. I may even get a cabinet style display that I can close the doors on! thanks for the info.
I will just give a quick review of who I have dealt with:
Alvis takes a little while to get you things, but in my experience its worth it.
TIN is phenomenal to deal with and his work is great...
My question is about the effect of temperature changes on the figures...I am not storing them, but putting up shelving to display them in my sun room. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I am wondering if it...
I think in this case its a bit different. It would be akin to your manager telling the customer that there was no fertilizer when the customer could see it plain as day sitting on the floor.
My wife and I are having another baby----due next month---and I am losing my toyroom. The only space I have left is my sun-porch, which is not climate controlled. It is closed in with glass and...
I am doing fine...I SHOULD be out of room...but Horde Trooper shortage hasn't allowed me to build the Horde I was expecting to build...so I still have space...
If you raise the prices of the figures by 1/3 you will need 1/3 fewer subs to carry the line
If you DECREASE the number of SKUs you will make a more affordable subscription (maybe 8-10)
Put no more...
Its because the cost to tool your own MOTUC buck is much higher than buying an existing buck. For the most part, all MOTUC figs are built on 2 bucks...male and female...with the obvious exceptions...
IDK if it is real or not. I never heard the total numbers produced for Mattel employees, but I understand it was very small. I have heard from a former Mattel employee that they DID have the same...
For those that want them and like them, I hope the sub goes through, but unfortunately I can't offer any help on this one. With battler ram coming and other motuc stuff, I just
Can't commit to...
I want the Horde tanks and Batmechs
I think there are several ways to do this.
One model is to plus up the 2.0s, with extras to entice the EXISTING collectors...also to hold Teela, Fisto, and Sorceress 2.0 through 3-4 years to...
The tease is H.G. Francis....he wrote scripts for MOTU...I would guess it is a creature or character from one of his scripts....
I have said it before 2016 has
To look like this:
1) select 2.0 versions
2) fewer skus
3) higher price point $35.00?
4) diverse figure offering
5) more transparent line-up
I think a couple of the 200x has already been sculpted. Others know better than I do, but its widely known that there ARE figs floating around that were sculpted a few years ago that got shuffled...
Its the mask of power demons. :hmmad:
We kind of will though...Its another chance to introduce MORE characters we may never get.....ARGH! The duality of it all!
Good work everyone! Thank You to all those that bought subs and multiple subs. We really came together as a community and did it! For what its worth...I'm proud!
SOOOOO, @570.00USD/sub, The .ORG's contribution to Gross Profit for Mattel so far:
Okay, I have re-counted.
52 Subs = $28,000 (est) gross profit from The .Org alone over 2 days. IDK what the margin is, but that seems pretty good for a small collector's line.
Thank you for buying one more!
The way forward will be a combination of the following:
1) Strategic 2.0s to appease new collectors
2) Fewer SKUs to offset the cost
3) More transparency into what the line-up will be
The one that was in a solid time slot for 6 weeks,, until the rating tanked, advertised heavily...and had more peg space than Marvel Universe at Wal-Mart, Target, and Kmart for 6 months until it...
I think Thundercats is a good bellweather for this idea.
Awesome. 41/970! Looking good! Lets get the word out.
I agree 100%. The backlash from not putting the sub through, could tank all of their future plans for the motu IP.
