Yay! See everyone there!
I like that Mattel finally let Scott borrow a hi-def camera.
There's some speculation that the Laser Power figures were originally meant to be based on the movie, right?
Not interested in stylized mini-figures.
Maybe if they were cheaper and I saw them in a drug store on impulse - but not at limited-edition prices. Scott, you can't make them for as low as I would...
Case by case, as with Mattel's WWE line - most outerwear on the Elites is removable, but the Shield's is glued on.
The piece inside the tail - the softer piece that houses the sockets for the legs - seems to have been placed incorrectly inside the tail, so that the circular bits with the sockets don't come all...
Hooray! Just finally got the shipping notice.
I just called, they said I was charged but it's still processing...and to call them back in two days if nothing changes.
I had four pending charges, and now they've disappeared.
Mine still says "in process."
has anyone actually gotten their quarterly stuff?
No mention of not having A-list 200x, eh?
I really, really want Prahvus, and the skeletal warrior that came with the 200x Slime Pit. Most other ones I'd want have been covered in this thread...
Sigh. His key characteristic aside from his gimmick was treachery against Skeletor. And Galen is not a good name.
But bios can say whatever they want. Not too big a deal in the long run.
Remember when we thought the white Horde crossbow could be a Filmation Hordak?
I would not be surprised if this a tease for a "chase" Pink Teela.
People constantly ask for a Teela 2.0 and...
Funny - he totally looks like Anthony DeLongis and is more movie-accurate than vintage - like they said they couldn't do.
I'm very happy with that.
CLAWFUL CLAWFUL CLAWFUL
Melty-Face Keldor (a la the 200x Comic Con exclusive)
Skeletor (white face)
White Hordak w/mechanical lower jaw ("Filmation"...
How about Langella? Use his real likeness and there are no movie issues. Even have him as a vampire-like character as a tribute to his fame as Dracula.
He said it's "a" figure, as in one, and obvioulsy oversized. Also vintage.
I think it has to be Modulok or Multi-Bot. Outside chance of Sagitar.
I'm guessing Hydron could re-use the Man-E-Faces torso pretty easily.
My first email (for 2 Eternia subs and Watchmen) had a reasonable $75 plus shipping charge. Then I get this:
"Y3187S Club Eternia® 1 1 1 $30.32
1. Horde Trooper
2. Rio Blast
10. Battle Blade/Discs of Doom Skeletor (similar enough to count as one once you adjust...
I got two separate emails. bear in mind I got two MOTU subs (which i regret now; would rather have one) and one Watchmen.
Club Watchmen 1 1 1 ...
Mer-Man here too.
Mo-Larr. I hate going to the dentist more than anything.
Yeah, mine's "The Original" - never had Battle Armor He-Man, but if his neck's like this too, I now know I don't want him.
Thanks for the knowledge.
Hair is no hindrance on mine at all. I kinda wish it were.
I don't remember problems on him being mentioned before, but mine has a long neck post with a loose fit. Can't really return it because I'd rather have this one than none, but I'm glad he was half...
In the Star comics, Rio Blast kept eating Chilipanio peppers, which Snout Spout complained smelled terrible.
Captain America was arguably "too similar" to Human Torch, but Chris Evans played them both anyway.
Good lord, if playing similar characters were a problem, none of the guys in the Expendables...
Thank you! Think I just got mine.
